cup of coffee is often one of the reasons to get out of bed in the morning. Coffee helps us fight fatigue, stimulates fat burning...it seems to be omnipotent. And so the question must inevitably arise...
ADoes coffee benefit skin and hair?
It is enough to recall its composition and the basic answer to this question is clear. As a source of valuable antioxidants that help the body fight free radicals, coffee naturally has a beneficial effect on the skin. And we now know that people who drink coffee regularly are able to combat photoaging - the ageing of the skin caused by sun exposure.
This, of course, is about internal use, i.e. coffee consumption per se.
But is it possible to use ground coffee for skin or hair treatments and get a positive effect? Absolutely yes! Try it with us to see how it benefits your skin...
Coffee Facial Mask
You can easily prepare this at home using commonly available ingredients. Use ground coffee (unroasted) and olive oil in a 1:1 ratio. Mix well to form a paste, which you gently apply to your face and massage into your skin in circular motions. Then leave the mask on for 15-30 minutes. Afterwards, wash off with warm water.
You can apply the coffee mask twice a week.

mask applied on the areas affected by cellulite, combined with massage of these areas, helps to blood the skin, caffeine will dilate the blood vessels and ensure better transport of nutrients to the tissue, as well as flushing out waste substances, locally applied caffeine also helps to break down subcutaneous fat, the peeling effect softens and tightens the skin, so the anti-cellulite effect is virtually instant. Of course, you can't expect to completely get rid of cellulite this way, but with regular applications, the affected areas will definitely look better. You can add a little honey to the anti-cellulite massage mixture, or use coconut oil instead of olive oil.

although drinking coffee stimulates the body, when applied externally, coffee soothes the skin, closely related to its other effects...
Strong coffee compresses can be used to soothe sunburnt skin. In this case, of course, it is not advisable to apply a mask containing ground coffee, because it would irritate sensitive skin, just brew a cup of strong coffee, let it cool and apply compresses soaked in coffee on the affected areas.
With coffee in your hair
You must have noticed that there are shampoos and other types of hair cosmetics containing caffeine on the market. This has been shown to stimulate hair growth and its effect is probably due to the fact that caffeine improves blood circulation to the skin, including the scalp.
For those who don't want to spend a lot of money on special shampoos and tinctures, you can try massaging your scalp with ground coffee before each hair wash. Simply scoop some ground coffee into a handful and massage it gently into the skin under your hair. After massaging for a few minutes, wash your hair as you are used to. Ideally, you should repeat the massage once or twice a week. Its exfoliating effect (removal of dead skin cells) will also be appreciated by people suffering from excessive dandruff.
The magical effects of coffee, as you can see, know no boundaries and the body benefits from coffee in countless different forms and uses.
