The naughty dog was founded by Petra Davies Veselá and Gwilym Davies. Petra is a multiple national coffee champion, author of The Big Book of Coffee and trainer of Coffee Courses. In the roastery she is in charge of selecting green coffee and officiating around. Gwilym is the 2009 World Champion, owner of the Prufrock Cafe and because training wasn't enough, he had dreamed of starting a roastery. And he did. Petra and Gwil are inseparably accompanied by their two dachshunds, Jenny and Maja. And it is after them that the roastery is named. The focus is on roasting coffee from Africa and Central America. Their favourite countries are Ethiopia, Rwanda, but more recently Colombia and Costa Rica.
