Coffee roasted every week
In 1941, Peter J. Schlumbohm, a doctor of chemistry, invented a design coffee machine whose face has not changed after more than 70 years. And, not surprisingly, there's no need for it. The world admired and appreciated Chemex CM-3A Pour Over 3 is slowly finding its place among Czech coffee lovers. Its author himself claims that "even the biggest oven can make excellent coffee with Chemex."
TheChemex, at first glance resembling a water carafe, is made of borosilicate glass and has a wooden corset in the middle held in place by a leather strap.
Making coffee is really easy, just insert a paper filter from the top, rinse it with hot water, pour in the appropriate amount of medium ground coffee and gently steam it. As soon as the first drops of coffee start to fall through, top up the water, stirring occasionally. For precise slow pouring, we recommend our Hario Buono coffee pot. For more information on preparing filter coffee, see our section Coffee Preparation - Filtered Coffee.
For perfect results, we recommend purchasing Chemex paper filters for 1-3 cups.
Material: borosilicate glass, wood, leather
Volume: 450 ml
