Coffee roasted every week
The La Pavoni Professional has one larger 1.6l boiler which is filled manually through the top of the machine. The entire boiler is then closed and pressurised for the entire brewing time until the coffee is completely cooled. The water level is indicated by a gauge on the side of the boiler. The boiler is heated by a powerful heating element at the bottom of the boiler. The heating is then controlled by a thermostat and a light at the switch indicates when the coffee machine is hot.
Theentire coffee preparation is done manually, first by lifting the lever to fill the head of the machine with water and then pressing it to push the water through the coffee. The pressure is created only by your force and there is no pump or spring. Up to 16 cups of coffee can be made in one filling of the boiler.
Whipped milk can also be prepared using the steam nozzle. The whole process is very simple, the steam is formed at the top of the boiler where there is no water - the more space, the greater the steam supply.
With minimal electronics, the whole machine is very easy to maintain and repair, so it will last in the home for many years.
