Origin of coffee : Robusta likes warmth and humidity for its growth, and India, which is the world's largest producer along with Vietnam, Brazil and Indonesia, provides this environment 100%. Our robusta comes from Karnataka, India. Here, coffee trees grow mainly in mountainous areas. The unique processing of grains using the so-called moonsoning method is also typical for Indian robusta. After harvesting, the coffee is exposed to several weeks of cold wind and monsoon rains, which have a real force in India, and this gives it a very specific taste that makes it sought after by many.
Taste : Robusta is simply stronger than Arabica and is also more bitter. It is a strong coffee with a beautiful high crema. Beneath the typical spiciness, you will finally discover chocolate tones in it. Cherry is not sour, it has medium to low acidity. This is a strong, intense coffee that you will appreciate especially in moments when you need a real boost. The caffeine content is around 250mg in one cup, while Arabica has a lower content, around 120 mg.
