This coffee comes from the Gedeb region, which lies in the Gedeo zone in the south of Ethiopia, in the famous Yirgacheffe area. The area is known for its rich tradition of growing premium coffee. It is processed in the Gedeb Slow Dry plant, which excels in strict quality standards. The best coffee cherries from local farmers are brought to the Lalesa washing station, where thanks to the high altitude of 2150-2200 meters above sea level and the unique conditions, they are transformed into coffee with a unique character.

Coffee is processed using the slow dry method, which requires care and time . After harvesting, the cherries are dried on raised beds under a greenhouse cover for 20-25 days . This slowed down process allows for longer fermentation, creating a rich and fruity flavor profile that is significantly more complex than conventionally dried coffees. Carefully spreading the cherries in a thin layer ensures even drying. The coffee is then ready for export and will delight lovers of fine coffee all over the world.
